Nadia Hernández and Jon Campbell: Speech Patterns

This book accompanies the exhibition Speech Patterns, bringing together the work of Nadia Hernández and Jon Campbell. As the title suggests, a key element that unites these two artists from different generations and backgrounds is the way in which their work evolves in relation to the physical and aural aspects of language: their protest is against specific political issues and everyday idiocies, responding to global and local concerns, questions of belonging, and possibilities and constructions of various value systems.
