For their first exhibition together in Germany, artists Florent Dubois and Sarah Vadé have chosen the vitrines at Motto as a place to experiment with various printed materials. Their collages, gathered while flitting through books, manifest how the act of flicking may activate the reader in narrative processes.
For “Journaux de mode. Journal des demoiselles.”, Florent and Sarah propose an installation influenced by the discovery of a manga version of Gustave Flaubert’s Madame Bovary.
