Flux I bell sTRUcTURs e.V. Berlin: for search, theme, performative activities.

The 208-page annual report covering October 2023 to February 2025 provides intellectual and visual insights into our project activities. The interior projects reflect, among other things,

a spiritual work and metaphysical-poetic words in sentences and word fragments with symbolically strange connections, or surreal body sketches that merge with photographic tree leaf compositions. We asked eleven artists to create works on the concept of ‘Egoism’. The mostly different perspectives were brought together to strengthen the narrative through this pluralistic view and visualization. This was followed by a project in which we mocked human power orientation. The subsequent duo project ‘Encounter’ opened up space for the contingent, the inexplicable and the shifting of boundaries, a kind of romanticism without resorting to the classical era. This, in turn, opened the door to the Meander project, in which 21 artists from all over the world were asked to perform a 12-hour meander at the place where they live and work before visiting Berlin. A few weeks later, the sensitizations were brought to Berlin (no art) and shared with colleagues here.

With 21 artists, many performative-participatory actions and artistic practice-related reflections took place every day. This project was characterized by giving trust and creativity, as well as the awareness that we (children of the technological world) are the bearers of new, and therefore Different, Forms of Empathy. The latter also buzzed through the autumn project. A great amazement at the colors of the autumn leaves led to a collection campaign. We changed the project from one day to the next: the leaves became the carriers and the almost invisible hand of the mother connected everything; held everything together! In the last project (till early 25) “Human Sediments, drifting Up” the artists were asked to take a short meander to capture positive and negative moments, then put these memories and insights into words and write them on our walls. Eleven days later, they were to cover them with visualizations.
