Silence starts at -425m

Based on the progressive disappearance of the Dead Sea, “Silence starts at - 425m” presents the poetic expedition that took place in March 2012 to record the last sounds of the dying sea. On a journey from the Dead Sea Valley down the the Dead Sea’s bedside, “Silence starts at -425m” follows a man wondering with his sounding line, pursuing the aural traces left by the memory of a sea that once used to cover the whole valley.
