Santa Carne is a research project that sees its first formalization in the creation of a 72 pages fanzine, printed in 5000 copies on tabloid-format newspaper and published in March 2020 by Teatro della Cenere Editore.

The project was born from the collaboration between Teatro della Cenere, the photographer Piero Martinello and the informal group L.S.L.C. which investigates LGBTQIA+ issues, of anthropology, theology and ecclesial practices, up to the fundamental and repressed question of the relationship between sexuality and the Catholic Church.
