This fantastic box set includes four books of photographs by Roland Iselin and one booklet of texts by Oliver Mayer Kiel, Nadine Olonetzky and David Signer. Inside the box you will find: “Members:” a collection of portraits of people belonging to a club of some sort; “Route One:” photographs taken along the infamous American highway route; “If You Close The Door The Night Could Last Forever:” a two book series of photographs taken in and around various Zurich and New York venues; as well as a book of texts by Oliver Mayer Kiel, Nadine Olonetzky and David Signer exploring the work of Roland Iselin. All together the project provides a valuable overview of Roland Iselin’s insightful work in images that dwell somewhere between the staged and the real, capturing specific moments of culture and individual assertion.
