Ian MacFadyens Essay "Codename Burroughs" untersucht die vielfältigen Verbindungen zwischen literarischer und experimentell bildnerischer Produktion. Entsprechend der Idee der Reihe "The Future of the Past" widmet sich Axel Heil der Bedeutung Burroughs' für die zeitgenössische Kunst. Das Interview von Jean-Jacques Lebel mit Burroughs und Gysin (Paris, 1982) liegt erstmals in deutscher Übersetzung vor. Das Buch entstand in Zusammenarbeit mit James Grauerholz und The William S.
