Zen Locomotive (Cassette Tape)

Zen locomotive is a two-part composition that tells the story of the “hobo”. People who live on the fringe of society, choosing to travel and live in freight trains and yards. Some are forced into this way of life by poverty or desperation while others seek it out in the noble pursuit of total freedom. A dreamlike state pervades the music while the sound of a locomotive guides us through the stories of many lives intersecting America under immense starry skies until the roar of the railway turns into the repetition of an old scratched record as if it was a mantra.
