Industrial Evolution + Prix Fernand Baudin Prijs Catalogue

Industrial Evolution is one of eleven books awarded the Prix Fernand Baudin Prijs, a prize giving special recognition to those books which demonstrate an outstanding quality both in their conception (editorial and graphic), and in their production (printing and binding). The calaogue for the prize, this year produced in collaboration with designer Manuela Dechamps Otamendi, is distributed together with the prize-winning books for the original price of the publication.

About Industrial Evolution:

"This book was published on the occasion of the exhibition of Maarten Vanden Eynde's work entitled 'Industrial Evolution'. Vanden Eynde acquired a hundred pairs of objects from the last remaining factories in Birmingham, the United Kingdom. The first part of the book consists of photographs which immortalize the pairs of objects preserved. each of them occupies a space of its own and is endowed with a Romantic aura. The second part of the book takes up the book's cover, which evokes the industrial present's ability and will for reproducibility."
