Product Description

This book is the first monograph on the Ruth Ewan. It follows the strong body of work created during her recent solo exhibitions at Kunsthal Charlottenborg, Copenhagen, and Dundee Contemporary Arts, Dundee. These shows have been significant statements that tie together many strands in Ewan’s practice, and extend her rich enquiry into collective action and memory.

Besides a large number of images and an interview with the artist, the publication contains a new essay about the artist by Will Bradley who is a curator at Oslo Kunsthall and the co-editor of the pivotal book 'Art and Social Change' together with curator and writer Charles Esche.

The book is the fifth in Charlottenborg's series of monographic publications accompanying our North Gallery exhibitions.
