Pierre chose pictures where the tourist cameras are visible in the mirrors of the palace... L'ancien regime is definitely about the multiple viewpoints that intersect in the mirror : the tourist's cameras, Google's view, and the eye of the photographer behind his screen. A game surrounded by the silent statues.

About the artist:
Piere Le Hors lives and works in NYC. He made a pretty amazing book called Fireworks Studies published by the fine folks from Hassla Books in 2010.
