View of a nation that has a need of icons, saint or political. Russian messianism and nationalism, pathos and grandeur. Renaissance of the Orthodoxy and the desire for restoration of national confidence, which was knocked down after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Her aim is to capture not only certain changes in the life of Russians relating to rejection of the communist ideology, but she is interested, as indeed in all her projects, mainly in general human values that are affected by time or environment only minimally.
