Product Description

Jeju Island' is a collection of 19 essays and 120 photos of feelings that you saw and felt while traveling to Jeju in your 20s.
The essay was rewritten on the basis of notes I took during my trip, and all the pictures were taken with a film camera.
This book was produced in a limited edition of 500 copies.

"I wanted to make a book about Jeju since I had the same affection as I have.
It was probably 2014, so it took six years to make it. The decision to make a book was due to honesty.
During my trip to Jeju, I was able to be honest with the short articles that I took and the photographs that I took because of the beauty.
To be honest was to have no embellishment, and to be honest was to be natural. When I confirmed it, I was encouraged to make a book.
This book will be for me in the past, me in the present, and me in the future.
And I hope this book will get you closer to me. Everyone including me. "

When I first decided to make 'Jeju Island', I wanted to make the cover blue.
The most common color I saw and felt while traveling to Jeju Island was blue.
The three photographs on the cover were taken from the Oreum, Gotjawal and Hallasan in order.
I wanted to show three images that are the most affectionate space in Jeju and that can only be seen in Jeju.
