Isa Genzken - Museion, Bolzano / Bozen

Published on the occasion of Isa Genzken's show at Museion, this volume takes a radical depart from the standardized format of the retrospective catalogue.

It's still lavishly illustrated and offers a detailed and in-depth approach to the quest for the modern that has been informing the radical and diverse oevre of Genzken for decades, but especially wats to give a sense to the tremendous importance and influence of her body of work in contemporary art practice. Eight international artists from three generations have contributed with texts and images, loosely disseminated throughout the pages.
