Ayten Pehlivan, originally from Cyprus, is an environmental scientist by education, a PhD candidate by occupation, and a poet by heart. She has lived in 6 countries, always looking to broaden her perspective. Her poetry comes, often spontaneously, from the impressions and inspiration she gets from her surroundings. In the years during which this book was written, she has set her focus on exploring her inner world. Her work is very personal, sometimes raw, and often powerful.
