Par les sillons was one of eleven books awarded the Prix Fernand Baudin Prijs, a prize which gives special recognition to those books which demonstrate an outstanding quality both in their conception (editorial and graphic), and in their production (printing and binding). The calaogue for the prize, this year produced in collaboration with designer Manuela Dechamps Otamendi, is distributed together with the prize-winning books for the original price of the publication.

The critic Xavier Guilert lingers for an unusually long time on the object and decodes it - it has a shiny cover made of scratched material, and beneath it a rough white books, without a word, without a back, letters in the roughness hidden in this smooth world. Open, a Rhodoid sheet and a colophon, as if its designers were resigned to attache words to this book only after the fact. Touch this Rhodoid, the author’s raw material, domesticated in this instance-unless it is the only thing to escape and testify to the struggle that inhabits the pages that follow.
