E.R.O.S. Issue II: The Palace of Wisdom

The third issue of E.R.O.S situated itself in the realm of excess. Beginning with Blake’s Marriage of Heaven and Hell, it looked at the relationship between wisdom and excess; poetic abandon and the Enlightenment tendency towards structural completeness. The surface of excess; the sound of excess; the performance of excess; and the structures that inevitably degrade their longing.
