Product Description

Exploration continues full throttle into the creation and culture of the project in the new issue of INVENTARIO, this time with a cover dedicated to Candles. And with new content, where the disciplines of architecture, design and art, together with life itself, find themselves interacting.

Cristina Miglio speaks of Lisa Ponti and her "drawings as thoughts", revealed, nimbly, to the viewer, while Roberta Valtorta reveals fragments of the visible world captured by the photos of Rinko Kawauchi. The "Brevi Note" section by Giulio Iacchetti is this time dedicated to doorstops, silent objects, useful to daily living, designed by Marc Newson, Chiara Moreschi, Modoloco and others. There is a tribute to the great master Angelo Mangiarotti and his designs for tables, developed over a twenty-year time span. The spotlights are trained on the works of Ugo La Pietra, which intertwine to form a "synesthesia between the arts", and a masterpiece by Alighiero Boetti that originated in 1971 and is set to last a lifetime: a regular, methodical and poignant project of the "self-portrait " through the application of mathematical rules that the artist explains in the texts of telegrams chosen as material support to the work itself. Marco Romanelli interviews Tokujin Yoshioka for the column "Nuovi Maestri" and Roberto Marone tells us about the findings of Daniele Perra Pario regarding Low Cost Design: corkscrews as handles and coffee makers as irons, in a series of small, inexpensive changes for everyday living. And then, an article by Michele Calzavara dedicated one of our "Modern Myths": Maarten Van Severen, a conversation on "objects that have left the stage" between Angelika Burtscher and Daniele Lupo with Tobias Putrih, and a lengthy inquiry, worthy of an "Architect’s Manual" under the entry "Among the Trees" by Annalisa Ubaldi, and much, much more.
