Product Description

As a Volume 9 of the paperback series fink twice, a revised reprint of the out-of-print title "The Swiss Issue" will be released ten years later, coinciding with Fucking Good Art's new publication "What Lives Can Be / The Ambivalance of Success".
"Fucking Good Art" is an international magazine published by the artists Nienke Terpsma and Rob Hamelijnck in a loose sequence. Since 2003, almost 40 issues have been published in different contexts. While editions designed as cut-sheet newspapers are distributed in exhibitions and offered freely, special numbers are created in collaboration with publishers and institutions focusing on topics.
"The Swiss Issue" was created in 2008 as "Fucking Good Art # 20" in the context of the exhibition "Shifting Identities - (Swiss) Art Today" at the Zurich Kunsthaus and conveys an extremely complex image of contemporary Swiss art at that time. Many of the topics discussed are still up to date. However, there are also changes that are clearly visible in the subtitle compared to the "International Edition: Zurich - Fucking Good Art # 38", as the new publication "What could be alive / the ambivalence of success" in the subtitle.
