The photograph was taken in Southern England while David Horvitz was making a work for Light and Wire Gallery. The location the photograph was made was where Bas Jan Ader intended to arrive when he sailed across the Atlantic in 1975 to complete his In Search of the Miraculous. This edition was made in conjunction with a book published by 2nd Cannons. The book is titled Rarely Seen Bas Jan Ader Film.
The text on the back is a letter that talks about other things.
