Lumen #6: Chikashi Suzuki: Cite

Chikashi Suzuki started to work as a photographer in the early 90s and has since then gained international recognition through, for example, his photographs for the French magazine ‘Purple.’ Published in conjunction with the photographer’s solo exhibition at the G/P Gallery, Tokyo, ‘Cite’ presents a series of new works that depict people and their surrounds in a realistic manner while avoiding the sensibilities often found in commercial fashion photography. Twelve large-A2 size prints are presented here packaged into a folded newspaper size format.
