Playing with Ludwig / Jouer avec Ludwig

In “Playing with Ludwig”, artist Nikolaus Gansterer and philosopher Klaus Speidel adress fundamental questions of sense making in language and visual forms. In a playful dialogue with the writings of Ludwig Wittgenstein, they tackle subjects like pain and pictures, colour and imagination, death and the materiality of language. Combining drawings, dialogues and installations, they devise a book that shows the traces of its own making.

Dans Jouer avec Ludwig, l’artiste Nikolaus Gansterer et le philosophe Klaus Speidel s’intéressent aux questions fondamentales de la création de sens par le langage et des formes visuelles. Dans un dialogue ludique avec les écrits de Ludwig Wittgenstein, ils abordent des sujets comme la douleur et les images, la couleur et l’imagination, la mort et la matérialité du langage.
