Nosratollah Moslemian - A Collection of Works

The current of Iran's contemporary art in the last three decades has been full of ups and downs both because of the inevitable influence of our turbulent society on artistic works and also the fact that art has been after some evolution and new ideas during this period. The path to maturity in Iranian artistic works has been inextricably linked with political, social and cultural changes which are revealed in diverse perspectives of an artist today.
Nosratollah Moslemian is one of the artists that understanding his works without considering the effect of social changes and events is not possible. He has gone through a challenging way for reaching the method and unique concept in his art. His works, which is based on a modern outlook and an Iranian cultural identity, are extremely mysterious and purposeful.
Appreciating Moslemian's aesthetic sense is only possible through knowing his personal inner thoughts. In his works truth and beauty is tightly united with a modern style, so form and beauty in his paintings have never been dominant and concept, without directly expressing his ideas, has been created in an aesthetic atmosphere. In Iran's contemporary painting, Moslemian is an influential painter. He is leading a new trend in finding new form and concept. We look forward to his new and different artistic creations.


جریان هنر معاصر ایران در سه دهه اخیر مملو از فراز و نشیب‌ها بوده است، هم به آن جهت که جامعه پرتلاطم ایرانی در دهه‌های اخیر تأثیری ناگزیر بر آثار هنرمندان ایرانی داشته و هم به آن جهت که هنر این دهه‌ها بسیار نوجو و تحول‌خواه بوده است. گذر از دوران جوانی و رسیدن به بلوغ و پختگی همواره در آثار هنرمندان ایرانی با تحولات سیاسی و اجتماعی و فرهنگی عجین شده است تا مجموعه ای از نگره‌های متنوع در آثار یک هنرمند دیده شود.
نصرت اله مسلمیان یکی از هنرمندانی است که برای شناخت او می‌بایست دوره آثارش را شناخت. مسیر حرکت او در دوران خلق آثار هنری بدون شناخت وقایع و تحولات اجتماعی دوران او ممکن نیست. بی‌شک او مسیری پرفرازونشیب را برای رسیدن به سبک و محتوای امروز آثارش طی کرده است. آثار او با تکیه بر نگاهی مدرن و متکی بر هویت فرهنگی ایرانی آثاری بشدت درونی رازآمیز و هدفمند است. درک زیبایی شناسی مسلمیان تنها به همراه حقیقت‌های اندیشه‌ای او ممکن است. در آثار او حقیقت و زیبایی با سبک مدرن آمیختگی بس یگانه‌ای یافته‌اند. به همین دلیل هیچگاه فرم و زیبایی در نقاشی‌هایش غالب نشده است و همواره مضمون بدون آنکه قصد ایدئولوژیک شدن و بیان مستقیم اندیشه‌ها و ایده‌ها را داشته باشد در بستری از خلق فضاهایی متأثر از زیبایی شناسی خاص او شکل گرفته است.
مسلمیان در نقاشی معاصر ایرانی نقاشی پرتأثیر است. او جریانی را رهبری می‌کند که موج نوجویی در فرم و مضمون را پی گرفته است و میبایست همچنان در انتظار خلق آثاری جدید و متفاوت از او و جریانی که موجد آن بوده است ماند.
