製作人左瑋在連續發行兩張 Synthpop 專輯後，逐漸抵觸起「旋律」。他重新思考起「聲音」與「音樂」的關係，最終以「聲音即音樂」為基調，製作了兩張全長專輯，《strati》便是第一張。其中所有收聲、效果與縮混均使用硬件完成，只用 DAW 完成剪輯、疊軌與導出，近乎摒棄軟件，旨在將「聲音」元素最大化，並模糊手動演奏與生成音樂的邊界。

After released 2 synthpop albums in a row, Victor Zuo started wearying 'Melody'. He rethought the relationship between 'sound' and 'music', eventually come to the conclusion that 'sound is music', and produced two full-length albums based on it, is the first one. All recording, effects and mixing are done by hardware, he only uses DAW for editing, overlaying and exporting, almost abandoning software, aiming to maximize the 'sound' element and blur the boundary between manual performance and generated music.
