Erzeugergemeinschaft (cassette)

Carsten Lisecki collects stories from various regional cultural experience spaces such as home clubs, subcultures, sports clubs and K&K markets. These are edited into a danceable game and published in the classic manner on a HIFI cassette produced by the Kunst im Kontext artist together with the musician Benedikt Surmund at the publishing house of the Stiftung Künstlerdorf Schöppingen. The work is inspired by the text "De laude antiquae Saxoniae nunc Westfaliae dictae (German: Zum Lobe Westfalens, des alten Sachsenlandes)" from 1478, in which the Carthusian monk Werner Rolevinck from Laer collected cultural stories and recorded Westphalian stereotypes (stubborn, down-to-earth, tough, hard-drinking) that still persist today.
