Magico

Andreas Trogisch is a classic graphic designer, but has never really appeared as a photographer. It is almost unbelievable that his exquisite photos, which have been taken over the past 30 years, have slumbered in secret for so long.

Now finally parts of the extensive work are published in a series of six consecutive photo folders. All editions are published in an edition of 100 numbered and signed copies by “Peperoni Books”. The second folder is called “Magico” and contains 27 black and white photographs that were taken between 1991 and 2009 in various places around the world.

In fact, the photographs in “Magico” have a magical aura, they appear mysterious and poetic at the same time. As in the first photo portfolio “Von Ferne”, Andreas Trogisch creates autonomous images of enormous visual power. I see puzzles that I may not even want to solve. However, the images remain valid.
