The Greek word atopía means the ineffability of things or emotions that are seldom experienced, that are outstanding and original in a strict sense. In his essay with the same title, Barthes describes the pleasure of the text as atopic. He also mentions the paradise of words. Fragments of his text are rich in associations which is why it is the starting point for our first issue.
