Libkovice: Zdař Bůh

This book is about the extinct North Bohemian village of Libkovice. The village celebrated its 800th anniversary in 1986 and officially ceased to exist in 1993. Despite the protest of the citizens of Libkovice, the Rainbow Movement, Greenpeace, etc., the village was finally liquidated. This happened because a large coal reserve was found under the village, but it later turned out that coal mining would be unprofitable. The book also contains a list of villages and settlements that disappeared in the North Bohemian Basin after 1945. The foreword is written by Erazim Kohák.
