This book is the result of an entire year spent collecting objects and fragments of paper found on the ground. Through this work, Bordier wanted to create a kind of poetic archive, composed of elements gathered during her wanderings or daily journeys.
Each object or piece of waste collected, scanned and integrated into the book has been transformed into a small artwork, a discreet witness to fleeting moments or unexpected encounters. This project gives a second life to these abandoned objects, while restoring the memories and emotions they evoke. It also invites reflection on the very act of picking up what has been left behind. Through short narratives, Bordier share the personal meaning this practice holds for her.
J’fée o mieux also questions the value of discarded objects. By incorporating them into this edition, she offers them a new destiny, diverted from the one they were originally meant for. This approach, both artistic and introspective, immortalizes everyday moments through a perspective that blends poetry and narration.
