IW-30: Assembler – Quantum Paths of Desire

Like earlier Assembler productions, “Quantum Paths of Desire” primarily uses 80’s and 90’s leaning synths and drum sounds in a loose and moody manner to deconstruct Techno (sometimes with a slight reference to Dub and Trap music), but compared to prior releases the album more clearly brings genres such as House, Trance and even New Age music to mind. Though musically approximate to “Hacking the Reproduction”, Assembler’s rst LP “Quantum Paths of Desire” seems somewhat distant in mood. It is both lighter and brighter.
