IM ZWISCHEN

Observing mindfully while at the same time being observed: by the everyday things, by the invisible mystery of the world. This enigmatic exchange-relation moved Frank Schlegel as a philosopher already and it is also the basis of his photographic work.

Each of the images and image pairs in this book play around with different aspects of the ‘between’, which never really exists in the photo but only results from situational interaction of the individual elements of the whole for the viewer.
