III, Ascension (vinyl + CD)

Originally taking the shape of a raw, distorted, cold yet atmospheric Black Metal entity, Feigur progressively and naturally shifted toward experimental, ritualistic, naturalistic, and industrial electronic soundscapes. Released 10 years after the previous split-release “Feigur & Lustre” and mastered in Denmark by Malthe Fischer (Lust For Youth, Scandinavian Star), “III, Ascension” lands as the outcome of this progression, depicting the post-mortem journey around our world from the perspective of the soul in three movements - each of which represents the stages it must go through to resurrect; Pain, Mourning (for oneself and others) and Healing.

Noises, harmonies, and distant samples of physical reality collide into a patchwork that I have always imagined to take place outside the limits of the observable.
