Hitoyoshi

The Hitoyoshi are in Kumamoto, Japan, suffered sever flooding caused by heavy rains in 2020, leading to the disruptionm of multiple surrounding railway lines. Before certain sections are scheduled to resume operation in 2026, I documneted the state of the railways and their surroundings while repair work was underway.

This photobook collects the various fragments and moments I captured during my time there.
