GHOST

"I have been fascinated with the secret lives of museum guards for more than two decades now. In their natural museum habitat, I hunted down these living installations.
My biggest reward always came when I chanced upon their rare, private moments. And of course the multi layers of observing someone secretly. I watched them - while they watched you - while you watched art.
Their behavior, patterns, moves, codes, dreams became much more interesting to me than the art they were protecting, the exhibition I initially went to see.
Now after all these years my desire is abated. I can visit an exhibition normally again; taking with me a new understanding about this solitary, unseen tribe—the masters of camouflage—and leaving in my way this voyeuristic homage to voyeurism and boredom."
