gabble Magazine, Issue 1, autumn / winter 2025

This magazine was launched at: GREATOREX Gallery, London on the 10th of December 2025 alongside a show featuring all of the artists that it includes.

They set out to stage a series of encounters between writers and artists and index them in the form of a magazine.
Whilst some writer-artist pairings first met during the writing process, most of the relationships featured predate it, and some have long involved closeness. The nine artists might, at moments, feel that the text accompanying their work sees them but that at others their work is misunderstood. They hope that both are points of contact — something that glints.

The opening night included performances from:

Kairi Tokoro (6:45pm)
Frank Wasser (7:30pm)
Isabelle Pead & Lu Rose Cunningham (8:15pm)
