E IL TOPO - Complete Magazine Archive, History Book & Posters (Box Set)

E IL TOPO - Complete Archive Box Set (1992–2024)

Founded in Naples in 1992, deceased in Milan in 1996, reborn after 16 years, scattered, individual and multiple, E IL TOPO is an international and transgenerational “movement” that conveys a subversive and libertarian attitude. Its modus operandi acknowledges no preset roles or personal styles, moving sideways in an ongoing “knight’s move” to defy expectations, avoid the commonplace, and create unforeseen associations between ideas and people.

The magazine is the constant presence of this fluid collective, which brings together around twenty artists without inner rankings or individual signatures. Published in black on grey recycled paper, E il Topo has evolved through decades of independent and collaborative publishing.

This box set brings together three elements: a large volume reproducing all issues of E il Topo published between 1992 and 2024 in facsimile; an English-language book telling the complete story of the magazine; and a folder containing eight posters originally published by the magazine.
