Danish Diaries

Italy and Denmark in the last century have exchanged goods, produced film and artistic works, but above all they have mutually hosted a community of people who have given life to some of the lesser-known chapters of the European cultural industry. The author chooses a diaristic form to recount his encounters and travels in Denmark: not only Copenhagen, but also Snekkersten, Espergaerde, Humlebeak, Helsingør, Hou, Aarhus, Ebeltoft, Herning, Aerø and other smaller locations. In this book we meet Danes who have found tastes, light, compromises in Italy, and Italians who have sought faces, words and inspiration in Denmark.
