the sculpture gefährt*innen_companions by toni schmale was commissioned by the belvedere in 2023 for the contemporary sculpture exhibition public matters. contemporary art in the belvedere garden in vienna, 13 may to 1 october 2023, to mark the 300th anniversary of the belvedere.
