Trees are commas

Trees are commas, is a short research-creation text in which the author observes six landscape photographs by Josh Müller.

Drawing inspiration from Roland Barthes’ article “Sur des photographies de Daniel Boudinet,” it explores the six images as if they formed a sentence and invokes poetic and theoretical motifs pertaining to the description of a subdued environment. Trees are commas, is a quiet book about an abstract walk and interconnected strata of meaning.
