Can be set up anywhere with two electrical connections. Objects can be leaning on each other, or scattered around. Steering Wheel should always be separated.


Audio Cassette

One cassette, recorded in the cave of Librairie Motto. The music is written and recorded by Vasco Cesaretti. A combination of field and home studio recordings, using violin, cello, realistic concertmate 650, electric bass and guitar, Roland TR-606, TR-707, live drums, voice, piano and the chimes hanging in my parents balcony. The recordings were made between South Pasadena, Chinatown-LA, Macintosh House-Pasadena, Rue de Rivoli - Paris, my home studio, and the island of Giglio.

Television Footage

The Desert is between 29 Palms and Joshua Tree. A stretch of landscape known locally for the nearby military base and the high unsolved murder rate that comes along with it.

The Motorcyclist is filmed in Chantry Flats, a snaking road connecting the city and the mountains in Los Angeles. My best friend was driving, and I followed with a third friend in a small Honda scooter shooting on a mini dv camera. We also have the 210 highway, a great symbol of unsentimental engineering. Like most of the automobile infrastructure, a lot of charm and humanity was scrubbed away to give way to this eight lane behemoth. It wasn’t until the fires at the beginning of 2025, and the widespread realization that it acted as a massive barrier, that I found any reason to be grateful for the wide concrete endless structure.

Ambulance scene: I spent a small amount of time living with a Tamazight family high in the atlas mountains. They were unlucky to host me while I caught an illness. A few days in I lost consciousness and woke up inside of the ambulance, for a few moments, deciding to capture something on a small digital camera.

Burning Car is a few seconds in El Segundo while I was heading home from the airport.
