Brad Downey: The Spat Upon

In August 2013, Brad Downey had a solo show at the SIC space in Helsinki, named The Spat Upon. The catalog with the same name is documenting this exhibition with the aim of accuracy. Following the way the eyes typically analyze informations, the catalog shows first the whole ensemble, the interaction of pieces with the space, followed by an extensive visual listing of all items in the exhibition.
The thematic scope dealing with urban life and vulnerability is addressed through the swiss binding with a very prominent thread, sometimes cutting the images.
