Kosminen #2 LOVE

Kosminen is a collective formed by four photographic artists, who run a namesake art space in downtown Helsinki and publish a hand bound zine four times a year. The publications are a result of editing old and new photographic materials, brainstorming about text and image – and most of all about trusting each other in the artistic process. LOVE is the second publication in the Kosminen thematic zine series. It consists of photos and chat logs that attempt to piece together an image of romantic love and eroticism, with intimate curiosity and the prevalence of pain. It is an anonymous and yet personal story from four people, which becomes a collective memory of what it is like to fall in and out of love, and to hurt and heal.
