Space Composition

“Space Composition” is a photographic story by Martha Schindil. This photo book summarizes the many trips to Japan, in the period 2017-2018, of the author, who is an architect by profession. Throughout her travels, she uses photography as a method of analyzing the social role of space and architecture through the concept of negative space (MA), characteristic of Japanese architecture and culture. , which then becomes the basis for building the whole book.
