Of What Remains

Of What Remains is a Beirut based interdisciplinary project, which presents a war-torn city through photography and writing. It seeks to bring forward the subjectivity of the places through all the memories they can contain. Putting imaginary - or supposed - memories into poems, like fragments, emphasizes on the ethereal aspect of memories. In this project, the relationship between space and memory is questioned in an open way.
All the pictures were taken in August 2016 in Beirut, Lebanon at the old war front line.
