Product Description

Um Nome Escrito no Vento [A Name Written on the Wind] is a small poem book by Ademir Assunção, an outsider Brazilian writer who has experimented with inventive poetry since the 1980s. Allied with a Brazilian literary tradition that moves away from naturalism (such as Campos de Carvalho, José Agrippino de Paula and Paulo Leminski), Um Nome Escrito no Vento is a kind of fake autobiography in verse, in which the author recreates himself through linguistic and imaginative tricks. The book was letterpress printed in gradient colors, and the paper is made with particles that appear and disappear as the ambient temperature varies. The psychedelic illustrations are signed by Zansky.
