Product Description

Catalog is the storyboard of a comic book experience with three 10-year-old children (Arto Van Hasselt, Stanislas Janssens, Marie Grisard) and 6 adults (4 designers including Olivier Spinewine, Jacques Faton, Marie Crespin and Louis Lamarque, a photographer, Vincen Beeckman and a writer, Lucille Calmel). This storyboard is sometimes expressed in the form of boxes, sometimes through still images, and tells the story itself: walking in the forest, transforming into a bat, climbing on its back, meeting a monster -mole, walk at the Museum of Africa, see the window devoted to elephants, make a contest to see who draws it the quickest, take a break, eat his picnic & That was the film. Establishing a dialogue between children's drawings and adults' drawings, Catalog also tells a story, marked by different points of view, where each has left its own mark. We are far from a story passed through the sieve of a unique style, as Raùl says on fremok.org: "A permanent designer is not sincere, he is commercial. You cannot pass all the things of life through a sieve, even if you always use the same hands. "

Éditions Luster, of which this is the first book, has maliciously organized it as a catalog of extracts from works which each have their own graphic identity.
