Haute Bricolage (re-issue)

DOLLAR CUT : DUB VERSION

In 1999, Tom Sachs made an elaborate full-color zine with taped-in photographs and collages called Haute Bricolage, which served as a catalog for his 1999 exhibit at Mary Boone Gallery. This black and white Third Class Version (made from the 1999 Coach Class Version) contains drawings, notes and photographs of Sachs' sculptures including the LAV A2 (Lavatory Aft Two - portside) measured and accurately built from a Boeing 767-300, and the infamous Guru Yard Style Sound System. Also includes fun facts about Mary Boone ("the original RISD girl"), a chart of decibel levels, and drawings of "some of the things we didn't do" for the show.
