BJ is a contemporary group accumulating heterogenity within itself as its primary energy. The stolidity of their direction, incomprehensibility and absence of any common denominator which could encompass the activities of all four members are typical "features" of this group or what we could call their group program. The members draw their strength from their mutual differences, each looks for, speaks and expresses his own vision, first of all. It is as if the brotherly sharing of a common opinion were troublesome today. It is tiresome to search for compromise in important issues and details we care about. Even the slight differences in precision that contemporary art is based on are painfully overlooked. It is much more advantageous to define one's own point of departure as sensitively respecting another. The members' affiliation can be traced to their everyday reactions and common daily problems: Who am going with tomorrow? What sense does photography make in today's art ? Is Mike Kelly still up-to-date? The group's members gradually intensify their emotional and rational constructs on which their artistic models are based. By doing so, they expand the distance between each other ever so surely.
