Berlin Series: Dong Xuan

" We discovered Dong Xuan by way of our Berliner friends through their practice space in Lichtenberg. Amidst the desolate, graffiti covered abandoned buildings lies a large epicenter of Vietnamese whole sale goods and restaurants. Phone cases, weave extensions, meters of different pattered vinyl, bras, dresses, bedazzled everything, every nook and cranny of these former airplane hangers are filled with plastic goods costing less than 10 euros. We were inspired by this idea of recreating one's own cultural community in another foreign city and through these pages decided to document our wonder towards this interesting place."
