Autostrata

«Autostrata» is a two-part project between three independent artist-run spaces in Poland (DOMIE, Stroboskop, Galeria UL) and eight artists (Anastasiia Batishcheva, Quirin Brunhuber, Agnieszka Dragon, Ilinca Fechete, Julia Rybalka, Ania Siekierska, Magdalena Welz, Hisashi Yamamoto). The first part of «Autostrata» involved the creation and realisation of three simultaneous exhibitions in Poznań, Warsaw and Gdańsk, based on a dialogical process between the travelling group of artists and the artists from the respective galleries (Goś Patalas, Katie Zazenski, Marta Grabowska, Piotr Szymon Mańczak). The exhibitions took place between 14 September and 1 October 2023. The second part of «Autostrata» took place in Munich in December 2023. The insights and collected experiences from the first part, as well as an additional artwork by Natalia Revko were documented and curated at Halle6 Munich, and the artists who kindly welcomed us in their spaces were invited to participate in a panel discussion between artists running spaces in Germany and Poland.
